- Alright this was the worst part about moving anywhere new, you had to move all your crap. Luckily Elliot, Aiden, and Nathan had decided to move from Keystone to Golden together. After all they had come to the mutual decision that they were going to attempt to make it as a band. Nathan sighed as he put Aiden's guitar case down on his bed, before heading back out to the living room. Aiden's dad had manged to hook them up with a pretty sweet dorm. Three bedrooms, a living room, small kitchen, bathroom, it was utterly amazing. Nathan sighed as he walked back out the door, and down the stairs.-
- He was greeted by the sound of barking, as both Atrophy and Phobia begged to be let out. Nathan grinned as he walked around to their crate doors. He grabbed the leases and first got Atrophy out. There rather large, blue and white pit bull. He grinned as the dog whined before beginning to sniff the ground. Nathan next clipped Phobia's leash on and removed, a rather large female rotwieller. -

It was Kimmy's first day on her new campus. She'd decided to move from Keystone to Golden because she'd broken up with Ian while he was in a wheelchair, and she obviously got some negative feedback because of it. Everyone was saying she broke up with him because he was handicapped, but she had her own reasons. And besides, he had girls begging to take her place in about two seconds anyway. Did it make her jealous? Sure, but it was all the more reason to move away. And besides, Florida was getting old, anyway. She needed some new scenery. But she chose to go to Golden because she had some friends going. Natie, Aiden, and Elliot had all decided to move there, and she'd pretty much followed them. She did that kind of thing often... it was part of her obnoxious personality.
And when she figured out where they were living, she obviously followed them there, too. And how did she figure that out, you ask? She had her sources. And sure, you could call her a stalker, but she wouldn't defend herself. After all, you can't fight the truth. She headed toward their dorm, not bothering to knock on the door. She hadn't told them she'd moved there yet, but that was why she was there. She looked around only to see a bunch of boxes and bags. It was obvious that they'd just moved in. And who was better at distracting people from doing their jobs than Kimmy? But she couldn't find them anywhere.
She began to look, but then heard something growling and barking from behind her. She quickly twirled around to see what it was, only to find it was a giant pit bull. Her eyes immediately widened. She wasn't afraid of dogs or anything, but it was massive. It continued to bark at her, and she got down on her knees and began rubbing under his ears. He relaxed for a little bit before shoving his head against her, knocking her to the ground. She closed her eyes for a second before opening them, only to see the dog with a ferocious expression on his face. And needless to say, it scared her. "Uhh... good boy..." She muttered with a nervous giggle, and she then saw him run in front of her and begin barking insanely. Obviously, the dog didn't like her very much.

- So in the process of getting Phobia's leash on, Atrophy had decided to take off. Nathan growled as he snapped the leash on Phobia, letting her jump out of the car. The massive Rottwieller whined and pulled as she wanted to see what had gotten Atrophy so hyped up. Nathan heard growling, and barking, and immedietly began to get worried. Pit bulls werent well liked in this particular state, and well if Atrophy had cornered some old lady, he would be getting the death sentence. "Atrophy!" Nathan yelled only to hear the dog stop his barking, before the sound of nails and concrete came his way.-
- The pit bull had a dumb look glued on his face as he inched back towards Nathan. "What are you doing? You want to die, you big dummy." Nathan said playfully pushing the dog before snapping his leash on. Now to see what exactly Atrophy had gotten himself into. Nathan held the leashes at his side as he came around the corner. His eyes immedietly locking with the girl on the ground. "Geeze I'm so sorry, he usually doesnt act like that." Nathan said rubbing the back of his head before biting his lip.-
- He prayed to god he could charm this girl out of giving his boy the death sentence. Yet as he walked closer his eyes widened. It was Kimmy! "Kimmy?" he said looking at her once more. He had never thought he would see her here, never. Last time he had seen her she was happy with Ian.. and well as much as that bothered him, he accepted the fact she was happy.-

Kimmy then heard someone speak to her. Of course, she recognized his voice. How could she forget it? It belonged to the one and only Natie Dementia, after all. And after knowing him for so long, she could recognize his voice from a mile away. "Yeah, well, apparently this dog doesn't like me very much," she said, rubbing the back of her neck. Of course, when she heard him say her name, she remembered that she was there for a surprise visit. At that, she looked up at him, a dorky grin spread across her features. "You know it," she chirped, probably sounding a lot happier than he was. She hadn't told him that she'd dumped Ian yet, though she planned to. What she wasn't going to tell him, however, was why she did it.
She stumbled onto her feet, continuing to smile at him. "I moved, too. Sorry, you haven't gotten rid of me yet." She teased, looking around for a fridge. She needed a beer. "Let's just say life in Keystone sucked." She let out a sigh, prepared to tell the whole sob story. Her life had turned into some kind of soap opera, and that wasn't exactly what she wanted for obvious reasons. She then turned around, letting her eyes lock with Natie's. She'd missed those eyes more than he would ever know. "I'll tell you what happened, but first I need a drink. Please tell me you unpacked your fridge," she said with a groan. If she didn't get some alcohol in her system, she'd start crying when she told him. And she didn't want to seem even more weak than he already thought she was.

- Nathan just couldnt help to smile as it was Kimmy. For one it meant Atrophy was safe, and two it meant she was here. Yeah for a while she had just devestated him, but now he had moved on, he was happy. "Why would I want to get rid of you." he said with a small laugh before locking eyes with her once more. "Your one of my best friends Kimmy, thats never going to change." Nathan said with a smirk as he walked up to his apartment/dorm thing. He walked in, and after Kimmy was in he shut the door behind her. He let the dogs off their leashes and they immedietly went to searching the house. "Aiden and Elliot should be back in an hour or so, they went to pick up the new puppy." Nathan said with a laugh, after all Elliot needed a dog.-
- Nathan laughed when she asked if he had unpacked the fridge, he gave her an I'm sorry grin. Yeah they hadnt gotten around to it yet, after all it was pretty much Nathan unpacking, and Elliot and Aiden making it harder for him too. "But I think we have a case on the counter." Nathan said with a smile as he walked into the kitchen and handed her one. Just then the sound of an IM could be heard, and Nathan's eyes darted to the lab top. "Hold on a sec." he said with a smile as he walked over and flipped his lab top open.-
- He smiled as he looked at the message Nika had sent him. Yeah they lived on different ends of the country, but they were attempting to make it work. Nathan quickly typed a reply, before shutting the lab top, and smiling at Kimmy.-

Kimmy smirked at Natie. "Well, you'd be surprised," she said, raising her eyebrows. It had happened before, and nothing was stopping it from happening again. She wasn't usually so dark and negative, but she was going through a rough patch. Okay, so maybe 'rough patch' wasn't the way to describe it. But you get the idea. She then let out a snort. "How many dogs do you need?! Let's see, there was the pit bull that attacked me earlier, and then there's Phobia..." She had to admit, she always liked Natie having a ton of dogs, especially because she didn't have any herself. Back when they were so close that they practically lived together, she'd spend hours just hanging out with his dogs. But things had changed since then, and she wished things were the way they'd been.
She then heard him say they had beer, which caused her to let out a sigh of relief. She started clapping when he came back with a can, and she popped it open, downing a good three quarters of it in one gulp. She then saw him go to check his lap top, and she assumed it was Nika. They obviously hadn't broken up. Natie was a person who would want to make a relationship last no matter what the obstacles were. That was a good thing when she was together with him, but now that he did the same with another girl, it just annoyed her. But she put it aside and sat down on the floor, since they obviously hadn't unpacked enough to get a couch. She patted the ground next to her, signalling for him to sit.
She figured she'd just break the news. She had to tell someone, and Natie had always been someone good to vent to. She had this feeling of guilt that refused to go away, not only because she had dumped someone who was handicapped, but because she'd dumped someone who had already bought an engagement ring for her. And that guilt was enough to drive anyone insane, Kimmy being no acception. So instead of going on about how horrible her life was or how guilty she felt, she figured she'd just get straight to the point. "I dumped Ian." She simply stated, her voice somewhat loud. But she lowered her voice to a whisper. "For you." Of course, when she said that, it was barely audible. He'd have to either have supersonic hearing or the ability to read her lips in order to know what she'd said.

- Nathan had been slightly preoccupied by the intense desire to hear that im beep noise agian. He lived for that noise, for that noise meant one thing and one thing only. Nika was there. Nathan spent most of his life infront of that thing, trying despertly to convince Nika to just run away. He'd come get her, he had promised her that on several occasions. Nathan just wanted to be with her, yet at the same time, he couldnt bring himself to live in Keystone anymore. Too many memories, too much drama for his taste. Yet when he heard her speak, his green eyes immedietly shot in her direction...she what? -
- Wow, Nathan had never seen that one coming. They used to be thick as thieves, heck she cheated on him with Ian. He would think if she had done something that drastic she would have known what she wanted, not decide upon something different later. Nathan didnt hear her next statement, for he was just so shocked by the first one. "Aww Kimmy why?" he said being the caring friend he always had been. Inside he felt as if jumping up and down to finally be rid of Ian, but he didnt. He needed to be her friend at the moment, and nothing more. After all it never worked out anyways, and Nathan was always the one stuck hurting.-

Kimmy saw Natie's eyes shoot over to her, and she simply shrugged at his reaction. To be honest, she didn't expect him to be surprised. She more expected him to have an 'I-told-you-so' attitude. After all, he'd warned her about him, and she'd just gone running back to him anyway. And he had been faithful to her after that one incident, but she eventually just let the guilt overcome love. And besides, she discovered that their relationship had been based on having fun and sex. And since Ian was in a wheelchair, sex was obviously a difficult feat. But when she heard Natie ask why, she practically choked on the air. "Well, I..." She wasn't about to tell him the real, main reason.
"I don't even know..." She shook her head, staring down at her feet that were covered in heels that she could barely walk in. She always wore stilletos that she tripped on. There you have it, the secret behind Kimmy's clutziness. "I felt like our relationship wasn't any fun anymore, you know? And usually, when the fun ends in a relationship, if you truly love someone you'll still feel the same way. But I started to think maybe I didn't even really love Ian in the first place." To be honest, she couldn't say she really knew what love felt like. "And I should feel relieved to be over him, but I'm not, Natie." She looked at him with her big, blue eyes. "He was about to propose. I mean, I wasn't ready for that kind of commitment, especially because I was doubting that we should've been together in the first place. I mean, I'm seventeen! I don't even think it's legal for me to get married."
She then got onto her feet, wobbling for a second to get her balance. She headed over to the case of beer, for it seemed like the only form of comfort at that moment. Sure, there was Natie, but she couldn't tell him why she really broke up with Ian. It was because the only guy she felt she could actually spend the rest of her life with was Natie. And alcohol just gave comfort, no questions asked. She was perfectly aware that she had a problem, she just never did anything about it. "...do you think I should call him?" Sure, that was a weird question to ask him, but they were friends. And because they were just friends, she'd ask him friend-like questions. She continued to stare down at her feet, but she wasn't crying. She just didn't want Natie to see the pain in her eyes.

- Nathan listened intently as she spoke, after all he was known to be a good listener. Not to mention he wanted to hear what exactly finally made her wake up. He had never understood how she could have thrown away what they had, for something Nathan knew all along would never last. Sure, her and Ian had a great 'physical' relationship, but he never saw much past that. Ian was self centered, he did what he wanted when he wanted, and he was only truly sorry when he screwed up. Nathan was the complete opposite, he was there threw thick in thin, he would have fought so hard for her. He would have been willingly to work past the fact she had cheated on him. But what ruined it, was he knew deep down he would never be like Ian. Whatever Ian had, Nathan never would... and that was what truly broke his heart.-
- "Maybe you didnt, but I find it hard that you didnt love him. After all you threw away so many things for him, and never to have loved him... what a shame." Nathan replied, he wasnt in the mood to fight, he just wanted her to know how he saw it. She threw away them for him, and if she never loved Ian...than she threw away something great. At her next statement he gave her a comforting smile. "You never will be, it will always hurt...always."Nathan replied following her into the kitchen. He wasnt in the mood to drink, but he knew alchohol soothed Kimmy, always had always would.-
- "Yeah thats something you've always been afraid of." Nathan replied about comitment. It was true, thats why it was so easy for her to date someone like Ian. Ian had no expectations, therefore he was easy to please, which in turn gave Kimmy nothing to fear. She had nothing to be accountable for, nothing to fear doing wrong, and that in Nathans eyes was the sole reason she went back to him. Nathan rested his hand on her shoulder, slightly rubbing it as she spoke. "Personally no, I think your better off without him. You deserve so much better then that. You really do." Nathan said squeezing her shoulder one last time before walking back into the living room.-

Kimmy let out a sigh. "You know, I thought it was love... but I guess it was just infatuation. Love is just confusing." She said, downing her third can of beer. She then nodded at his next statement, blinking away some tears from the corners of her eyes. "Yeah, now I know how y - " She stopped before she could finish her statement, which in its entirety was 'now I know how you felt'. That would just be cruel, there was no comparison to what she was going through versus what she had made him go through in the past. Three times. And lately, she was regretting it more and more.
She heard his next statement, and she didn't neccesserily agree with it. She'd been afraid to commit to most of her boyfriends, but that was because she hadn't found the one guy who she felt she was ready to spend the rest of her life with. Though she was pretty sure that the guy was Natie, though she'd had her chance and she blew it. But when she heard what she said next, she stared down at her feet. "No, I don't deserve better. I had my chance with someone who I could really commit to, but I screwed it up. It seems like every time something good comes along in my life, I have to ruin it."
She then took the half-empty beer can that was in her hand and crushed it with her hands. "But do you wanna know why I really broke up with Ian?" She muttered, tossing the can toward the trash and missing. But she ignored it and looked back over at Natie. She was ready to tell him, not because she'd worked up the courage but because she was beyond tipsy. "I dumped him for you."

- He listened to her first statement and shrugged. "Love isnt confusing when you know what you want." Nathan said, for it was the truth. It was easy loving Kimmy, the hardest part was letting her go, and accepting the fact that she no longer wanted him. His music had helped him threw that time, and well he had her to thank for his bands succeess. Though saying thanks for breaking my heart isnt exactly what either of them needed at the moment. When she almost said it, he looked down, and away. He was attempting to avoid her eyes, for it still hurt even if it had been several months ago.-
- He heard her speak and sighed, before walking back over to her. He gently slipped his hand under her chin, and made her look up at him. "Don't ever say that. You've made mistakes everyone has, dont let it get to you, or you'll never feel how good love can be. How real it can be." he said with a smile before slipping his arms around her and hugging her. He hated seeing Kimmy like this, hated seeing her beating herself up over things she couldnt fix. Nathan released her from the hug just in time to see her throw the can.-
- Nathan would love to hear the reason why she left the coward, but before he could reply she had said it. His green eyes locked with her, a slight look of confusion on his face. She couldnt do this to him, she couldnt tell him what he always wanted to hear, not now. Nathan had sworn to Nika that he didnt even think about her anymore... that he wouldnt do anything in her absence. Nathan bit his bottom lip and just stared at her. "Kimmy dont say that, I cant hear that right now. Your telling me what I've always dreamed you would.. but its too late, I cant break her heart like you broke mine." Nathan replied.-

Kimmy shrugged. "Well, I guess you could be right," she muttered. He was right, and that was why she didn't know if she'd loved Ian or not. It was part of the reason why she was so confused, so lost. But when she felt him lift her chin, she just looked down, not wanting to look him in the eyes. But what he said made her heart race, and even smile a little.
"Well, it sounds amazing, but it's unrealistic for me. I'm just gonna grow up to be one of those ladies who lives alone with her cats. Even though I don't like cats. " She said with a sigh. Every time she felt a little bit better, she just had to bring herself back down again. When he hugged her, she returned the favor, holding him tight and burying her head against him. It just felt so right to be in his arms again, even if it was just as friends. But when she saw his reaction to her comment, she had to admit, she was a little bit worried.
She looked up into his eyes, her own filled with sadness and hope. A weird combination, but Kimmy was a weird girl. And when she heard him speak, she just looked away from him. "I know, Natie. It wouldn't be fair. I had my chance. And besides, you're with Nika now." She muttered. She almost felt as if Nika was her replacement, and it just made her pissed. She wanted to be the one and only Kimmy Wyatt, not someone who could just have someone take her place. She looked into his eyes for a split second before wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him toward her. She pressed her lips to his, kissing him hard. This probably had to do with the fact that she was buzzed. If she were sober, she'd wanna do it, but since she wasn't, she just went ahead and did it. When she pulled away, she regretted it, but damn, it felt good. She looked away from him for a second, feeling somewhat ashamed. [/sub]

- The way she spoke about Nika made him slightly angry, but he didnt show it. She seemed to have a huge dislike for a girl she hardly knew. Nathan could only assume it was this way because Kimmy was jealous of her. But this couldnt be true, she had made it clear, not once but twice that they should just be friends. So when he felt her press her lips hard agianst his, he was caught off guard. Though the force behind it made him groan as he kissed her back. God it felt amazing, utterly amazing. He shouldnt have, but he couldnt help himself, after all it had been nearly two months since he had kissed Nika. His hormones were getting the best of him, and the fact he still loved Kimmy wasnt helping.-
- When there lips parted, he just looked at her. She looked so ashamed, and that was something Nathan didnt want. Nathan gently lifted her chin, before pressing his lips agianst hers. He was already in trouble, he wasnt going to pass up the chance to kiss her once more. He had wanted to since the moment she had walked away from him. He hadnt forgotten her... but no matter how much he wanted her, he loved Nika, and he wasnt willingly to hurt her, anymore then he already had.-

Kimmy had to admit, the sound of Natie's groan made her, um, happy. Yeah, let's just say that. So when he pulled away, she was desperate to kiss him again. She had to admit, she felt more than a little bit guilty, but she wanted him so badly. She didn't want her guilt to get the best of her. "God, I missed that," she whispered, her lips moving to his ear. She couldn't help herself, he tasted just like she'd remembered, but better. Natie was like her addiction. No matter how many guys she got with, she always came running back to him. But that was the problem... it always ended in heartbreak.
She then felt him kiss her again, which took her by surprise. But she was in no mood to turn it down, so she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him with an equal amount of want and passion. She didn't want to let him go, not ever, so she kept him pressed against her. But the sound of an IM coming from his laptop distracted her. It was obviously Nika, and it caused her eyes to shoot open in the middle of the kiss. "Oh my God...
" She said under her breath, walking away from him. She started heading toward the door, Poison following her and barking like mad. It was obvious that the dogs didn't like her, and if Nika found out what she'd just done then she wouldn't like her, either. She didn't need any more enemies, she had enough as it was. " I should go," she said, looking back at Natie with a frown. " Have fun talking to your girlfriend." She opened the door and sat outside for a second, but one of the dogs followed her. Of course, it was Poison again. She assumed she was about to get attacked. But instead, the dog sat next to her, resting his head on her lap. She pet him, her hands going under his ears. " No matter what I do, you'll never be able to figure out what's so bad about it." She said with a slight smile. Sure, it was a little weird that she was talking to a dog, but she really didn't have that many people to talk to at that point. [/sub]

- Nathan had been in heaven when her lips were agianst his, but that was all ripped away by the sound of the im on his computer. He watched as Kimmy frantically left, and it took everything in him not to punch the wall. He ran over to the computer and typed a quickl reply before walkiing out the door to look for Kimmy. He wasnt going to let her get away that easy, not after that. He soon found her, and with his dog conviently cuddling with her. "Kimmy dont do this, dont shut me out." Nathan replied, sitting down next to her.-
- For as awkward as this was, they had to talk about what happened. He needed to know why now she suddenly loved him agian, when all the times before he was never good enough. 'What changed? What finally made me good enough?" Nathan asked wanting to know what had changed to make her want him agian. To act as if she really cared about him agian. For he had felt lustful kisses from Kimmy, and neither of the two they had shared were even close to being lustful.-
